Thank you for your response. ✨

Harare is set to come alive with colour, culture, and compassion as the Diplomatic Spouses Association in Zimbabwe (DSA) hosts the third edition of the Diplomatic Charity Bazaar 2025 on Saturday, 25 October 2025. The event, themed “A World in One,” will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Old Georgians Sports Club in Mt Pleasant, bringing together diplomats, local citizens, and businesses for a day of cultural exchange and charitable giving.

With the participation of more than 20 embassies from every continent, the Bazaar promises a truly global experience. This year’s lineup includes the Embassies of Botswana, China, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Greece, Iran, Indonesia, Mozambique, Malawi, Nigeria, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Palestine, Russia, Switzerland, Sweden, Serbia, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates. Each will showcase their nation’s unique flavours, crafts, and traditions through a range of stalls offering food, beverages, clothing, handicrafts, souvenirs, and folklore. The result will be a dazzling celebration of global diversity right in the heart of Harare.

Beyond the spectacle, the Diplomatic Charity Bazaar holds a profound humanitarian mission. All proceeds from the event including entrance fees, raffle ticket sales, sponsorships, and donations will go toward DSA’s charitable projects across Zimbabwe. These initiatives fund hospital and social home renovations, educational programs for children with disabilities, and empowerment projects for vulnerable women and children. DSA President Mirjana Grujic emphasized that the Bazaar represents far more than a cultural showcase: “The Diplomatic Charity Bazaar is our testament to unity, solidarity, and humanity. It strengthens ties between the diplomatic community and the people of Zimbabwe while supporting meaningful social change.”

Entertainment will be a key highlight throughout the day. The event will open with a colourful Flag Parade featuring all participating embassies, followed by a lively stage program of music and dance. Performances will include the celebrated artist Mary Anibal alongside talented young musicians and orchestral acts. The day’s proceedings will be hosted by the charismatic Zandile Ndlovu, the Zazalicious One, supported by two energetic co-MCs who will keep guests informed and entertained. Families are warmly invited, with a dedicated kids’ corner offering fun activities, while parents enjoy international cuisine, cultural exhibitions, and shopping opportunities.

Visitors can also look forward to an exciting raffle draw with prizes including Patrick Mavros jewellery, airline tickets to Lusaka and Kigali, and luxury hotel stays. DSA expressed their appreciation to their main sponsors and partners including ARIPO, Hyatt Regency Harare the Meikles, Zarephath Group, Delta Corporation, Mhishi Nkomo Legal Practice, CABS, Kefalos, Medicity Clinical Laboratory, Old Georgians Sports Club, Diplomat Media Group, and Safeguard Security, for making the event possible.

With an entry fee of only $5 for adults and free admission for children under 12 and seniors over 75, the DSA Diplomatic Charity Bazaar 2025 offers an unforgettable opportunity to explore the world in one day while making a difference in the lives of Zimbabweans in need.
