Fashion, fine wine, gourmet cheeseboards and live music converged at Gletwyn Boutique Guest House on Sunday as Bites & Bubbles Co. launched its hospitality brand with an intimate sundowner experience that celebrated style, taste and creativity.
The event, held on 25 October 2026, attracted a sold-out crowd for an afternoon of carefully curated hospitality, with guests enjoying wine, beautifully arranged food platters and live entertainment in an elegant setting.
The launch brought together the brand’s co-founder, Kiddo GC Kanda, and Afrosoul musician Skiezy in a collaboration that demonstrated the potential of combining music and wine culture to create distinctive lifestyle experiences.
Under the *Wine & Soul Sessions* concept, Skiezy’s soulful performance provided the musical backdrop to an occasion that encouraged guests to enjoy good food, drinks and conversation while embracing the relaxed elegance of a sundowner gathering.
The collaboration was particularly significant because it was the first time Bites & Bubbles Co. and Skiezy had worked together. Despite being a new partnership, the event successfully brought the different elements together, creating an atmosphere that matched the brand’s promise to deliver memorable experiences.

Fashion also formed part of the occasion, adding visual flair to the gathering and reinforcing the connection between personal style, social entertainment and premium hospitality.
For Kanda, the event was an opportunity to introduce a business built around her passion for event planning, wine and creating experiences that bring people together.
A certified wine sommelier and events planner based in Harare, she co-founded Bites & Bubbles Co. with her sister, Bridget Masara, who is based in the United States.

Kanda’s journey into the events industry began informally during her school years, when she organised social activities and celebrations. Her experience grew through helping friends and relatives plan lobola ceremonies and bridal showers, eventually leading her to coordinate a wedding in 2023.
She pursued a short course in wedding and events planning that year and graduated from wine school in 2024. In early 2026, she left her corporate job to focus on building the business.
Bites & Bubbles Co. was conceived as a luxury mobile hospitality brand offering clients the flexibility to bring curated food, drinks and stylish event experiences to different settings.
Its services include wine tastings, cocktails and mocktails, snack and gift boxes, sundowner gatherings, intimate venue styling, mobile bar hire and event equipment hire. The company also works with wedding planners, event organisers and corporate clients seeking integrated hospitality services.

The Gletwyn launch showcased the brand’s ability to combine these offerings with live entertainment, creating an experience that went beyond a traditional wine tasting.
The sold-out gathering also marked the beginning of a broader programme of curated events. Kanda is planning another wine tasting experience for December 2026, with additional Wine & Soul Sessions expected to follow.
The brand’s debut highlights a growing opportunity for experiential hospitality, where food, music, fashion and carefully designed settings become central to the occasion rather than simply supporting it.
With its first major event successfully delivered, Bites & Bubbles Co. is looking to build on the momentum and establish a distinctive presence in Zimbabwe’s hospitality, entertainment and lifestyle market.
