Internationally renowned gospel performers Naomi Raine and Todd Galberth are on the way to perform at the Harare International Conference Center on Friday, March 13.

This significant night of worship and music has drawn the attention of thousands of gospel music enthusiasts from all around Zimbabwe and the surrounding nations who are predicted to attend the eagerly awaited performance.

When these two American musicians last visited Zimbabwe in 2024 as part of Maverick City Music’s world tour, the audience was profoundly moved and excited for their return.

Organisers say this year’s show promises an even more powerful worship experience, blending international gospel excellence with Zimbabwe’s vibrant local talent. The event will feature a strong lineup of local gospel artists, including Janet Manyowa, Cleo Arie, Sharon Cherayi, Ellard Cherayi, and the worship collective The Unveiled.

Event director Lyncolin Kapswara of Events by GEC said preparations for the concert are well underway and they are confident the gathering will deliver an unforgettable spiritual experience.

“We are fully prepared to host what we believe will be a transformative experience for everyone involved and we are committed to ensuring that this event exceeds expectations,” Kapswara said.

He added that the selection of local performers was carefully considered to ensure the event reflects both international excellence and the Zimbabwe’s thriving gospel music scene.

“We chose these artists not only for their talent but also for their ability to create an unforgettable atmosphere. Those attending can expect heartfelt performances that connect the local culture and the international gospel movement,” he said.

The return of Raine and Galberth has generated significant excitement among gospel music followers in Zimbabwe. Raine is widely celebrated for her powerful vocals and songwriting, particularly through her work with Maverick City Music, while Galberth is known globally for worship anthems that have resonated with churches and gospel audiences worldwide.

Their music has become a staple in worship spaces across continents, making their performances highly anticipated events wherever they travel.

Ticket sales for the Harare concert have already begun, with general admission priced at US$20 and VIP seating available for US$50. For fans seeking a more intimate experience, a Golden Circle package priced at US$100 will offer premium seating as well as a meet-and-greet opportunity with the two gospel stars.

Kapswara said that the event is a special gathering designed to unite believers and non believers through worship, music and fellowship.

With a blend of international acclaim and local gospel excellence, Friday night’s event is shaping up to be one of the most significant gospel music gatherings in Zimbabwe this year.
