Delta Beverages has unveiled plans for the inaugural Mighty Zambezi Lager Bonfire Festival, a major winter entertainment event set to transform Donnybrook Park in Harare into a hub of music, culture, and celebration on July 4, 2026.
Dubbed “Zimbabwe’s Own Bonfire, the festival is expected to bring together thousands of revelers from across the country for an immersive outdoor experience that celebrates Zimbabwean entertainment, social connection, and the spirit of winter festivities.
Running from midday until 2am, the festival promises a full day and night of entertainment, with organisers promising an exciting line-up of performers, activities, and attractions that will be announced in the coming weeks.
The event marks a significant addition to Zimbabwe’s entertainment calendar and reflects the growing popularity of large-scale outdoor festivals that blend music, lifestyle experiences, and local culture.
Delta Beverages says the festival is designed to create a uniquely Zimbabwean winter celebration centred around the warmth and social atmosphere associated with bonfires. The concept seeks to provide a platform for entertainment lovers to gather and enjoy live performances while embracing the country’s vibrant social culture.
To build anticipation ahead of the main event, Zambezi Lager has launched a nationwide Bonfire Micro Events Tour that will visit several cities and towns. The tour kicked off in Kadoma at Odyssey Lodge on June 13 and will move to Hartsfield in Bulawayo on June 20 before concluding at The Jam Tree in Harare on June 27.
The pre-festival events are expected to give consumers a taste of what to expect at the flagship festival while creating excitement and engagement across different regions of the country.
Festival tickets are already available through Click n Pay platforms and selected Liquor Supplies outlets nationwide. General admission tickets are selling for US$20, while limited VIP tickets are available for US$50.
Industry observers say the launch of the Bonfire Festival highlights the continued growth of Zimbabwe’s events and entertainment sector, which has seen increasing demand for premium live experiences and destination-style festivals.
The event is also expected to provide opportunities for local artists, vendors, hospitality operators, and small businesses that benefit from large gatherings and tourism-related spending.
Organisers have encouraged music lovers and festival enthusiasts to follow Zambezi Lager’s social media platforms for updates, artist announcements, and other festival-related information as preparations gather momentum.
With winter now in full swing, the Mighty Zambezi Lager Bonfire Festival is positioning itself as one of the season’s most anticipated entertainment events, promising a memorable celebration of music, culture, and the unmistakable warmth of Zimbabwean hospitality.
