SaintFloew, Liquideep Power Unplugged Comeback

 Unplugged Zimbabwe is poised to return this December, with local chart-topper SaintFloew headlining the country’s largest family-friendly music and leisure festival. After a brief hiatus, the popular blanket-style event will return on Saturday, December 21, at the First Capital Bank Sports Club in Mount Pleasant, promising a new yet familiar experience for music fans.

SaintFloew, who will headline the performance alongside famed South African house duo Liquideep, portrays Unplugged’s dedication to honoring Zimbabwe’s present sound and youth-driven enthusiasm. SaintFloew, widely considered as one of the country’s most influential hitmakers, has amassed a devoted fan base with his candid storytelling, street anthems, and high-energy shows. His arrival is expected to bring a gritty, contemporary edge to the festival’s trademark laid-back vibe.

Liquideep, who reunited in September 2025 after an 11-year break, will provide the event’s sunset vibe with timeless house classics like Fairytale and Alone. Their return to Harare adds a nostalgic element to a program that includes guitar virtuoso Sylent Nqo, exuberant fan favorite Delroy Shewe, and lively artists Melyssa, Saiiren, and Sane Wav.

Organizers said the December edition builds on the success of the previous Unplugged concert, which reminded the audiences why the festival is still a fixture on Harare’s leisure calendar. That outing was distinguished by a filled venue, flawless sound production, and a diverse crowd dispersed across picnic blankets, bean bags, and family areas. Standout moments included powerful live band collaborations, surprise guest appearances, and an amazing sunset session that kept the audience singing deep into the evening. The Kids Zone was also a huge feature, providing a safe and entertaining environment in which parents could completely enjoy the performances.

This year, Unplugged ups the ante by introducing the Live Experience Arcade, a dedicated game and technology zone that will run alongside the live music performances. The renowned Unplugged Kids Zone returns fully supervised, strengthening the festival’s family-friendly attitude.

“We wanted to remind the  people why they fell in love with Unplugged,” explained event representative Danis Dube. “Bringing SaintFloew together with Liquideep bridges generations and captures both the old magic and the new energy.”

With gates opening at 12:00pm and tickets available exclusively through Hypenation, Unplugged Zimbabwe’s December return promises a colorful blend of nostalgia, creativity, and local star power headed by SaintFloew and Liquideep from beyond the borders.
