Harare is set to boom with festive fireworks on December 22, 2025, as the much-loved Carpe Diem lifestyle and music experience makes a highly anticipated return to the capital, promising an electrifying night of sound, movement and celebration.
The event will take place at Old Hararians Sports Club, a venue known for hosting premium outdoor experiences, and is expected to draw music lovers from across Zimbabwe and beyond.
Carpe Diem has steadily built a reputation as one of the region’s standout entertainment brands, blending cutting-edge music with immersive production and carefully curated atmospheres. This year’s edition continues that tradition with a powerful lineup featuring some of Africa’s most influential DJs and producers, alongside respected local talent.
Leading the bill is South African hitmaker Dlala Thukzin, whose genre-blending style fuses gqom, amapiano and Afro-house, earning him a devoted following across the continent. Zimbabwe will be strongly represented by Reverb 7, widely regarded as a pioneer of the local house music movement, whose influence has shaped the country’s electronic music culture for years. The lineup also includes Bantu, a Grammy-nominated, Los Angeles-based artist celebrated for his global Afro-electronic sound, Sun-El Musician, known for his soulful, melodic productions, and Lamiez Holworthy, a prominent South African DJ and media personality with a strong international profile.
Event organiser Walter Wanyanya said the team is focused on delivering a seamless, high-quality experience that reflects the Carpe Diem brand. He described the upcoming edition as vibrant and intentional, noting that every element has been thoughtfully planned to meet world-class standards while maintaining the relaxed, feel-good energy the event is known for.
Beyond the music, attendees can expect premium hospitality, immersive décor, interactive experience zones and carefully placed festive surprises designed to elevate the overall atmosphere. Organisers have emphasized that Carpe Diem is about more than performances, offering a full sensory journey that prioritizes comfort, safety and inclusivity.
Tickets are available online via TicketPro and at selected outlets including Cafe Nush and Techtools Gadget Garage. Early bird general access tickets are priced at US$30 until December 15, rising to US$40 thereafter. VIP tickets are available at US$60 during the early bird phase and US$80 after December 15.
With more than 60 percent of tickets already sold, organisers have warned that availability is limited. Attendance is strictly capped to ensure a comfortable and secure environment, and no additional tickets will be released once capacity is reached.
As the festive season approaches, Carpe Diem is positioning itself as one of Harare’s must-attend end-of-year events, inviting everyone to celebrate music, culture and community while truly seizing the moment.
