Gaza Crisis: Deaths Exceed 100 Daily

The State of Palestine has issued a powerful condemnation of Israel’s continued military offensive in the Gaza Strip, describing the current escalation as a campaign of genocide and a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law. With over 100 Palestinian civilians reportedly killed each day, Palestinian officials are calling for urgent and decisive intervention from the international community.

“The State of Palestine is appalled and outraged by the scale and savagery of Israel’s aggression,” read an official statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. “The systematic killing of our people and the obliteration of entire neighborhoods constitute nothing short of a deliberate policy of extermination.”

According to Palestinian sources, the relentless bombardment has turned Gaza’s densely populated residential areas into war zones, leaving hospitals overwhelmed, infrastructure in ruins, and a growing humanitarian catastrophe. Entire families have been wiped out in a single strike. Civilian casualties include women, children, and the elderly—many of whom were sheltering in designated “safe zones” or seeking humanitarian aid.
Ambassador Tamer Almassri, in a press briefing on Monday, condemned Israel’s use of siege tactics and starvation as weapons of war. “Israel’s deliberate targeting of aid distribution centers and the use of humanitarian corridors as ambush zones are war crimes. The manipulation of aid access not only violates basic norms of war but also turns international assistance into a trap for the desperate and displaced,” he said.
The ambassador further warned that Israel is emboldened by the global community’s inaction. “The lack of consequences is enabling Israel to escalate its atrocities with impunity. We are witnessing a genocide in real time, and the silence of the world will be remembered as complicity.”
Palestinian leadership is demanding an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire, the permanent opening of border crossings to allow the unrestricted flow of people and humanitarian supplies, and an international arms embargo on Israel. Crucially, they are calling for mechanisms of accountability through the International Criminal Court and other judicial bodies to prosecute those responsible for war crimes.
“This is not just a conflict—it is the annihilation of a people,” said a Palestinian official. “The lessons of history are clear: impunity breeds further atrocity. Just as the architects of past genocides were brought to justice, so too must those responsible for today’s crimes against the Palestinian people.”

As the death toll climbs, Palestinian voices continue to urge the world’s diplomatic and legal institutions to act swiftly—not only to halt the violence but to uphold the principles of justice, human dignity, and the rule of international law.
