The organizers of the annual Mine Entra exhibition have decided to shift the leading mining, engineering and transport showcase in Zimbabwe from its traditional November dates to July 17-19, 2024. This shift is expected to drive even greater interest and participation from exhibitors and visitors alike.

Mine Entra has grown to become the second-largest expo in Zimbabwe, surpassed only by the long-running Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) held each April in Bulawayo. Busisa Moyo, Chairman of the ZITF Board, expressed excitement about the significance of Mine Entra and the state of preparations for the 2024 edition:

“Mine Entra is a critical platform for showcasing the latest technologies and solutions driving the mining, engineering and transport sectors in Zimbabwe. The event has grown tremendously over the years, and we’re thrilled to see it move to July, which should allow for an even larger turnout of exhibitors and visitors. Our team is working hard to ensure all logistics are in place for a seamless and productive show.”

The 2024 edition of Mine Entra will feature the newest equipment, machinery, services and expertise catering to the mining industry. Industry stakeholders, policymakers and other key players are expected to converge at the Zimbabwe International Exhibition Centre in Bulawayo to network, negotiate deals and stay ahead of industry trends.

“The shift to July will allow us to tap into a different seasonal flow of activity and interest,” said an organizer. “Exhibitors are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to connect with an engaged audience of mining professionals, procurement managers and industry leaders. We’re confident this year’s Mine Entra will be the biggest and most impactful yet.”

Alongside the exhibition, the Mine Entra 2024 conference will bring together industry luminaries to deliberate on pertinent issues surrounding the mining sector and its related industries. Discussions are expected to cover a wide range of topics, including mining policy and regulation, technological innovations, sustainability practices, workforce development, value chain optimization, and global industry trends.

As the second-largest expo in Zimbabwe, Mine Entra 2024 is poised to surpass previous records and cement its position as a premier platform for showcasing the latest advancements and connecting key players in the country’s mining ecosystem.
