The State of Palestine has issued a forceful condemnation of Israel’s continued military aggression, accusing it of committing grave breaches of the ceasefire agreement and international humanitarian law. According to official Palestinian reports, at least 97 Palestinians have been killed and over 230 injured since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11.

In a statement released on Sunday, Palestinian authorities described the recent Israeli actions as “egregious violations” that amount to “genocide crimes against unarmed civilians.” The government emphasized that these assaults demonstrate Israel’s “blatant disregard for human life” and its “persistent campaign of collective punishment” against the Palestinian population.

Palestinian officials have documented over 80 ceasefire violations by Israeli forces since the agreement began. These include direct gunfire targeting civilians, airstrikes, the deliberate targeting of individuals and populated areas, the establishment of “fire belts” within residential neighborhoods, and the arrest of civilians. Such actions, they assert, expose the hollowness of Israel’s declared commitment to peace and reveal its true intent to prolong the suffering of Palestinians under occupation.

Ambassador Tamer Almassri strongly condemned Israel’s continued aggression, declaring that the latest assaults “unequivocally demonstrate Israel’s lack of interest in peace.” He added, “Israel seems hell-bent on continuing its relentless assault and genocide on defenseless Palestinian civilians. Its fascist leadership thrives on war, oppression, and the systematic destabilization of the Middle East.”

The Palestinian government further accused Israel of tightening its blockade on Gaza by closing all crossing points for humanitarian aid. This move, officials said, is a deliberate effort to worsen the already dire humanitarian crisis, depriving civilians of essential food, water, fuel, and medical supplies. “This is not merely an act of aggression,” the statement read, “but a policy of collective punishment against an entire population.”

Calling for urgent international intervention, the State of Palestine urged the United Nations, human rights organizations, and world governments to take immediate steps to hold Israel accountable. “The international community must act decisively to stop Israel’s relentless aggression,” the statement concluded. “Silence and inaction in the face of such atrocities make the world complicit in the suffering of the Palestinian people.”

As the death toll continues to rise and Gaza’s humanitarian situation deteriorates, Palestinian officials warn that the consequences of inaction will be catastrophic, not only for the Palestinian people but for the stability of the entire region.
