The Diplomat Golf Day, scheduled for August 2, is rapidly gaining momentum, with over 10 embassies, diplomats, and more than 70 players having registered to participate. According to Daylight Gwature, Diplomat Media’s Marketing Executive, “We’re thrilled to see such a strong response to this year’s event. The Diplomat Golf Day has become a premier networking platform, bringing together diplomats, business leaders, and influential members of society in a relaxed and informal setting.”

The event, hosted by Diplomat Media and the Diplomat Business Networking Club, aims to foster diplomatic and business relations, promote international cooperation, and support community development initiatives. It aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Zimbabwe’s National Development Strategy, highlighting the power of sport to drive positive change.

This year’s edition promises to be an exciting event, featuring an 18-hole golf tournament, networking lunch, charity auction, and prize-giving ceremony. Each team consists of four players, and individuals can still register and be paired with a team.

Gwature added, “The Diplomat Golf Day is more than just a game – it’s a platform for driving positive change, building relationships, and supporting community development initiatives. We’re looking forward to another successful event and making a positive impact in our community.”

With its unique blend of diplomacy, business, and sports, the Diplomat Golf Day is set to be an unforgettable experience.
