Zimbabwe’s favorite beer brand, Castle Lager, is bringing the heat this year as it celebrates a decade of the much-loved Castle Lager National Braai Festival, which will take place on October 18, 2025, at Glamis Arena in Harare.
To mark the milestone, Castle Lager has rolled out a series of 10 Micro Castle Lager Braai events across 10 cities and 10 popular braai hotspots. The celebrations, which kicked off earlier this month, will run every weekend leading up to the grand finale in the capital.
These gatherings are more than just about good food and cold beer. Each event features high-energy performances from top local artists and DJs, bringing together thousands of fans to enjoy live music, sizzling braais, and the refreshing taste of Castle Lager. The vibe is unmistakably Zimbabwean—where friendship, laughter, and tradition meet.
But Castle Lager isn’t stopping at just entertainment. In a remarkable show of corporate social responsibility, the brand will donate 10 state-of-the-art hospital beds to a local hospital in every host city once the micro events wrap up. That’s 100 hospital beds in total—a meaningful gesture that reinforces Castle Lager’s commitment to giving back to communities that have supported the brand for over 130 years.
“The Castle Lager Braai Festival is more than just an event; it’s a celebration of togetherness,” said Irimayi Muzorewa, Marketing Director of Delta Corporation. “For 10 years, we’ve created a platform where friends gather around the braai stand, share great moments, and enjoy Castle Lager. This year, we’re taking it further by giving back to the people who have made this journey possible.”
The ultimate Castle Lager Braai on October 18 is expected to be the biggest yet, drawing both local and international acts to Harare’s Glamis Arena. Organizers promise a feast of delicious food, unforgettable music, and the signature camaraderie that has made Castle Lager a household name.
As the countdown continues, fans are encouraged to follow Castle Lager’s official Facebook page for micro event dates and locations.
Because at the end of the day, “It all comes together with a Castle.”
